Project background:

The gold industry is an important part of China's national economy and an important guarantee of national strategic resources. Customer pain points:

A gold group is one of the largest gold production enterprises in China, with a number of gold mines and smelters, with an annual output of more than 100 tons. The Group has clear strategic goals and plans for digital transformation, but has encountered the following major problems in the implementation process:

-There are phenomena within the group that digital awareness is not strong, digital capabilities are insufficient, and digital applications are not widely used, resulting in the lack of unified guidance and promotion of digital transformation, and the effect is not ideal.

-There are differences and weaknesses in the digital transformation of the Group's subsidiaries, such as imperfect information system construction, inadequate data collection and research, and insufficient digital management innovation, resulting in a lack of coordination and efficiency in the digital transformation.

-The Group lacks professional training and guidance in digital transformation, unable to effectively improve the digital literacy and ability of employees, and unable to grasp the latest concepts and methods of digital transformation in a timely manner.

Project purpose:

In order to help the gold group solve the above problems and improve the level and effect of its digital transformation, Shangpu Consulting was commissioned by it to carry out a digital transformation training program for the gold industry. The project aims:

-Raise the awareness and emphasis of Group leadership and staff on digital transformation, and foster a digital mindset and culture.

-Help the Group to formulate and implement digital transformation strategies and programs that meet its own characteristics and needs, and realize the planning, organization, execution, monitoring and evaluation of digital transformation.

-Help the Group to establish and improve digital transformation-related information systems, data platforms, management processes and other infrastructure to achieve data collection, research, application and sharing.

-Help the group to cultivate and introduce talents with digital ability and literacy, and realize talent motivation, training, use and retention.

Research object:

The research objects of the project include the following three categories:

-Group leadership: including group president, vice president, general manager and other senior managers, a total of 15 people.

-The person in charge of each subsidiary of the group: including the general manager, deputy general manager and other middle managers of each mine, smelter, sales company and other subsidiaries, a total of 50 people.

-Group employees in various positions: including production technicians, quality and safety personnel, financial personnel, marketing personnel and other front-line employees of various subsidiaries, totaling 200 people.

Project Content:

The main contents of the project include the following four aspects:

-Research: Through questionnaires, interviews, observations, etc., conduct comprehensive research and research on the group's digital transformation status, needs, problems, goals, etc., and form research reports and suggestions.

-Training design: According to the research results and customer needs, design digital transformation training courses that meet the characteristics of the gold industry and the actual situation of the group, including course objectives, content, methods, time, location, etc.

-Training implementation: According to the training design, the online and offline combination method is adopted to carry out targeted digital transformation training for the group leadership, the heads of each subsidiary company and the employees of each position, including theoretical teaching, case research, practical operation, etc.

-Training evaluation: Evaluate and summarize the training effect through examination, questionnaire, feedback, etc., and form training evaluation report and follow-up improvement suggestions.
